movie talk
11.25.04 (11:14 am)   [edit]
last week i saw a couple of flicks:

chronicles of riddick: highly enjoyable for all riddick fans. fairly decent storyline, the action as usual is awesome with great tough-guy one liners. i felt certain actions scenes were too stretched out, showing the near impossible feats of riddick, i mean its crazy.

the secret window: now this was a neat movie. although i knew where the story was going from the start. from an earlier movie based on stephen king's novel. secret window is a great flick, be sure to rent the DVD and watch the featurettes section once u have viewed the movie.

the director mentions all the visual clues left in the movie for the audience to pick on as hints.

godsend: sorry to say, but i was soo disappointed by this one. didnt enjoy it one bit, except for the scary parts.i basically was expecting something totally different...

but otherwise this is a neat sci-fi thriller/horror movie.

wool cap: saw this one, last night. didnt get to see it from the begining but u can easily fill in the blanks as to what happened. i really enjoyed watching this one, the actor william macy plays the role of a mute homeless man who befriends an orphan girl. the story deals with the relationship between these two characters. william playing the big brother/father.

i generally avoid these drama types, but found myself anxious to learn how the movie would end and what would become of our unlikely hero. definitely worth watching.

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend !!

Brother bought a mp3 player online, the dude (no doubt a cool Japanese fellow) sold it with all his tracks still on it.

And so now I have a bonus of 572 tracks of assorted Japanese pop, soundtracks, instrumental added to my PC library weeeee!

God Bless Anime & J-music!
