spot a u.f.o anyone?
06.26.05 (2:25 pm) [edit]
some weeks back on the discovery science channel they were showing a program on u.f.o's and abductions. i too was wondering why this sudden interest in ufo's and Roswell now? what really bugged me was the fact that, as always the program was inconclusive in the end. it was a repeat of all the same pictures and video/news footage, and in the end...
do ufo's exist? umm well so many sightings are unexplained, but the abductions must be fake as they are now part of our culture and so everyone sees the same thing in dreams while experiencing night-paralysis.
my reasons: i think this is all a secret plot to gradually sink in the ufo phenomenon into human sub-conscious, to prepare the public for the truth what the govt has been hiding all along.
i think the day arrives soon, when the govt.s of the world will no longer be able to hide the truth.
other possibly more rational reasons: today while doing a search for RSS feeds of news-sites. i found a rather interesting post on a blog regarding the same subject.

summer boredom and healing thoughts
06.01.05 (10:16 am) [edit]
alright, the finals are over. summer is here. i passed by road test and will be getting my license in the mail soon. for now i will be driving my dad's jeep, we don't really need another vehicle.
will post more often now, have some links and news that have been pending for a while now.
in the early 1900's, Dr. Guiseppe Joseph Calligaris discovered the connection between the human body and the Divine Cosmic Force. something that has been known in the East since centuries past.
Dr. Joseph discovered he could induce, remote-viewing abilities in his subjects by simple stimulation on certain key points of the body. so how come we don't hear more of such things anymore?
read here.
F.Y.I remote-viewing and other seemingly super-human abilities lie dormant in each one of us.

the death of tv, and death by gas?
04.26.05 (4:00 pm) [edit]
well am on spring break now, so been enjoying myself by doing the things that i would like to do. namely not study :D there are still some assignments pending that i really need to get out of the way. [sighs]
old tv sets and their owners are in for a annoying time. the paranoid nut in me says that this is yet another method of 'them' to influence people better through TV. read here.
yet another strange bit of news, this time from germany. toads exploding to death, james bond movie brought to life? i think so. if you remember the movie starring roger moore in, 'live and let die' a bullet was used by bond to dispose off the main villain, who explodes to death after bond feeds him the bullet during an underwater struggle. this is eerily similar. read here.

shocked myself, literally
03.01.05 (5:55 pm) [edit]
post for feb 28th, 2005
experienced strong bursts of static discharge from my 100% polyester shirt.
and when i mean strong am not exaggerating in the least, on both occasions i heard a loud crackle and felt a tingling sensation associated with electric shocks, followed by a very brief period of numbing sensation.
1) i sit in front of my PC, right knee makes contact with CPU case, smallest toe on right foot goes numb.
2) am in basement removing the laundry from the dryer, i bend to pick up a sock lying on the floor, right hand makes contact with the sock and fingers on the right hand go numb.
needless to say i was freaked out and have stopped wearing that shirt, it's strange cause it's a real old shirt and while i always hear a crackling sound when i take it off, i never felt any static discharge.

02.11.05 (7:32 pm) [edit]
new link: 100 pix, in the left column
was browsing one of the sites that came in the bookmarks interface of the opera browser and got linked to an amazing website, one of the coolest i have ever seen out there.
the title of the website is; 10 X 10 / 100 Words and Pictures that Define the Time literally, as the pictures are updated by the hour.
you have a 10 by 10 box of images with their respective titles to the right of the box, click on an image and you see headlines links attached to them.
after seeing the site interface, i think all news sites should feature a page like 10x10. well, go see for yourself.

why today wasn't a beautiful day
02.09.05 (3:41 pm) [edit]
after the club day event spent some time on campus taking snapshots, i was surprised how good some of them came out...
i came home to find a free newsletter lying on the table. the title reads, falun gong today: focus on china
the pictures inside this newspaper are horrific reminding me of images from the holocaust. there were men and women beaten, tortured beyond recognition. professors and students from colleges and universitites dead and missing in chinese prisons, all beacause they follow the falun gong spiritual movement.
from the newspaper: "communist authorities have utilized state-run media in china to create a barrage of fabricated news stories aimed at demonizing falun gong. many violent crimes committed by people with no connection to falun gong were re-written in state-run media to frame falun gong pracitioners as dangerous or worse. much of this hate propaganda has found its way into western media reports"
from the website: "Your phone is tapped, your house has been broken into and you are followed everywhere you go. Your life and family are in danger, all simply for their spiritual beliefs. If you lived in a communist country such as China, it may not be hard to imagine, but what if you live here in the United States?
If you live outside of China and practice Falun Gong you may be a victim of these same senseless crimes. The leader of China, not content with banning the practice of Falun Gong in his own country has extended the persecution to North America and many other countries around the world"

spy chip is here folks*
02.02.05 (10:12 am) [edit]
[ note the * in the subject ]
this is an absolutely must see, for those reading this post. you might need real-player to see this clip on the new RFID (radio frequency identification) chip soon to be installed in all major consumer goods.
it seems to be difficult to link to the actual clip, so just look at the left column on the above link's page and search in the video and audio section. another related news link here.
you will not believe the amount of information that this small device (fits on your thumb) is capable of sending, very soon your employers might be asking everyone to carry this ID-tag on their person.
but fear not every technology can be hacked into...
personally i was thinking of crashing every chip after purchasing an item, microwaves and high voltage electric and magnetic fields ought to do nicely.

adverts: i hate them
01.29.05 (5:58 pm) [edit]
i have come to totally dislike commercials of all kinds.
especially car adverts sell me a car that doesn't run on gas, but on cheap non-polluting fuel and am sure to sit up and pay attention, until then all your fancy designs with all that horsepower, maintenance, warranty, and interest rates mean nothing to me.
whats up with all those burger ads? we know it's not healthy so stop bloody lying already!!
in this age, all our solutions don't lie in pills. we have pills for bloody everything from anti-depressants to losing-weight-in-weeks pills. insane!! studies have showed that anti-depressants are likely to cause suicidal tendencies in school kids.
now let's take a look at how commercials are designed, those few seconds cost the companies big dollars you know, so all adverts have either catchy-popular tunes or visuals to make sure you don't forget them easily. the short time period that commercials run for, also cause us to further develop a low attention span. and in real life you may find yourself tuning out from one thought to another[ even when you don't want to], without being able to think any one thought through.
anyways, adverts won't get the better of me, am quick to switch channels, for those who also hate commercials, muting the tv volume while adverts are on, make them more tolerable and humourous too, as this way you can fill in your own words. you will also notice other details that you might have never noticed before.
now for the lighter side of things;
listerine ads in trouble
listerine ad, anti-german
be sure to do a search on google for "listerine germans"
thought this post was too long? ask urself why you had trouble reading it through the end without pausing.

encounter with a virus
01.28.05 (4:38 pm) [edit]
encounter on 26th jan 2005
i was real sleepy that morning while checking my email and when an attachment passed the yahoo anti-virus screen, i assumed like a fool it was clean.
turned out it was a "bagle" virus, not the ones you have for breakfast am afraid. my eTrust Antivirus software managed to remove the file. Or so I thought, as some traces were still left i sent a copy of the virus to the anti-virus team at this link and hoped that was the end of it.
encounter on 27th jan 2005
this morning while checking my email, saw that the eTrust Antivirus team had updated their virus signature database, that was quick! They also published a detailed page on the win32 bagle virus, as you can see, this virus shuts down microsoft's firewall program and also the mcafee update program in a way crippling your machine's defenses.
my winpatrol an effective free program prevented the virus from copying itself into the startup programs list. that way the virus wouldn't load everytime i switched on my machine.
my mcafee managed to block the virus from dialling remote host computers on the internet, before it crashed. do i have a backdoor installed on my machine? am not sure.
found that the virus made 323+ copies of itself on my C:/ drive! well i got rid of them now.
encounter today
found 4 copies of the virus, my antivirus program took care of that. don't know when i'll be completely rid of it...

cassini-huygens mission
01.14.05 (8:08 pm) [edit]
today is certainly a historic day for all mankind!
the european designed huygens probe was deployed from the satelite cassini, and has made a successful touchdown on the surface of titan, one of saturn's moons.
discovery science channel is to show live coverage of this event soon.
some mind-blowing facts of this mission:
-- cassini made a slingshot maneuver around venus twice and once around earth to gather enough momentum through gravity to reach saturn.
-- cassini entered saturn's orbit at a speed of 45,000 mph and passed through it's rings at the broadest space between them.
-- brakes were applied in the form of a 96 min burn of it's rockets!!!
-- while cassini remains in orbit around saturn, its probe huygens was deployed to titan, which entered the moon's atmosphere at a speed of 13,000 mph.
-- after entering the atmosphere, it deployed and jettisoned several parachutes for it's 2 and 1/2 hr descent!!!
-- sadly titan's temperatue is around -176 C? F? and so the instruments abroad the probe can only last a few hours, but images and data have been radioed to cassini which is transmitting the data to earth.
a big salute and congratulations to the teams that made this possible.

why do dvds / players have region codes?
01.04.05 (1:12 pm) [edit]
who benefits? the industry.
who has a hard time? us.
was browsing a website selling hongkong cinema flicks with region code 3 and realised that i wouldnt be able to play any of them on my current dvd player at home as the usa falls under region 1.
so did a search to learn more about this absurd region codes for dvds and players. here's a bit from a reliable site.
"According to what the public is being told is that this is a tool to protect copyright and film distribution rights (in other words, movie studio profits). You see, movies are released in theaters in different parts of the world at different times throughout the year. That Summer blockbuster in the U.S. may end up being the Christmas blockbuster overseas. If that occurs, the DVD version of the movie may be out in the U.S. while it is still showing in theaters overseas. In order to preserve the financial integrity of the theatrical distribution of a particular film, it is not possible (under normal conditions) to have a friend in the U.S. send a DVD copy of the film to the country where it is in theatrical release and be able to play the DVD on a player there."

more on christmas
12.28.04 (10:57 am) [edit]
could someone please explain, why do people feel compelled to give gifts during christmas? this is just me so, dont mind me at all.
[ have folks even questioned the purpose of exchanging gifts during christmas? sometimes gift giving and exchanging takes on a different meaning, he/she/they gave me a crummy gift last year so, am not going to bother to pick a nice gift for them. why such a big fuss and focus over gifts? is that what christmas means to you now? acts of kindness and compassion are the best gifts we can give one another, respect and love without expecting any gain in return. ]
like i mentioned in the previous post, i think all this holiday gift buying frenzy is crazy. [ not that people shouldnt buy presents ]
and why are people nice to each other only during this season, not that its a bad thing to be nice, mind you.
just strange for people to act like puppets for this one season. do people really need an occasion to be nice to others?
edited entry: how many times were you made aware through tv, radio etc that you were celebrating a great soul and mystic's birthday?

how i celebrated x'mas*
12.24.04 (5:00 pm) [edit]
[note the asterisk on the subject, it also occurs in the header]
i never enjoyed celebrating x'mas from the very begining. i was always dragged to attend midnight mass with my devout catholic neighbours, and i promised myself that, once i was outta school, no mas. [pun absolutely intended]
i do celebrate christmas but in my own way.
so...i bought myself a gift, and now ofcourse am obliged to exchange gifts, so shipped myself another gift.
gifts for my folks at home are given at any time i please, am not comfortable buying a gift just cause its christmas, and as such i do not accept gifts from anyone. if you insist then dont say it's for christmas. lol.
anyways. coming to more important matters. am sure it didnt begin this way but now christmas is another fine way the govts, the shopping industry manipulate and control the masses. you are bombarded constantly with adverts on tv, radio, huge billboards to do just one thing. BUY STUFF!!
when was the last time you favorite show was constantly interrupted by adverts of peace and tolerance? all you get are, sale ads and ads which make you believe your unhappy because you dont have that featured advert-item or you are sick and need some form of medication, with more side-effects than curing potential.
yes. lets keep the people busy, lets give them another big holiday in the year, afterall the fastest way to teach an animal new tricks is to encourage it with rewards and give it the impression that it is it's own master.

metaphysics & occult
12.22.04 (5:01 pm) [edit]
yesterday was such a great day for me;
finished my finals
received a wonderful book in the mail [ i was unsure if i would ever receive it as i had purchased it from a private seller on amazon.com ]
found out and later installed trillian 3.0 [ a simple easy to use, universal IM chat client, it lets you chat with friends on AIM, ICQ, MSN, IRC and Y! even if you dont have them installed on your PC as long as you have an account with that respective IM client ]
foreword from the book, 'cave of the ancients'
this is a book about the occult, and about the powers of man. it is a simple book in that there are no "foreign words," no sanskrit, nothing of dead languages. the average person wants to KNOW things, does not want to guess at words which the average author does not understand either! if an author knows his job he can write in english wihtout having to disguise lack of knowledge by use of a foreign language.
too many people get caught up in mumbo-jumbo. the laws of life are simple indeed; there is no need at all to dress them up with mystic cults or pseudo religions. nor is there any need for anyone to claim "divine revelations." ANYONE can have the same "revelations" if they work for it.
no one religion holds the keys of heaven, nor will one be forever damned because he enters a church with his hat on instead of his shoes off. in tibet lamasery entrances bear the inscription "a thousand monks, a thousand religions." believe what you will, if it embraces "do as you would be done by" you will GET by when the final call comes.
some say that inner knowledge can only be obtained by joining this cult, and paying a substantial subscription too. the laws of life say, "seek, and you shall find."
this book is the fruit of a long life, training culled from the greater lamaseries of tibet and from powers which were gained by a very close adherence to the laws. this is knowledge taught by the ancients of old, and is written in the pyramids of egypt, in the high temples of the andes, and in the greateset repository of occult knowledge in the world, the highlands of tibet.

just testing out the feel of posting with comments turned off, i guess folks could always drop a line in the cbox to the right.
